Who We Are
Welcome to the Native American Junior Golf Association
The NAJGA was established in April of 2001 by James “JB” Cisneros (Kickapoo Tribal Member) and an alumnus of The University of Kansas. The NAJGA provides golf instruction, course access, etiquette, course management, equipment knowledge and educational and social development support to Native American and youth from various economic and socio backgrounds.
NAJGA is a 501 C 3 not-for-profit organization with a board of directors, and was a Founding Member of the National Native American Junior Golf Championships. The NAJGA is supported by the USGA, PGA, Corporate America, Financial institutions, small businesses and individuals. The NAJGA has introduced the game of golf to youth, millennials and adults. The NAJGA fills an important need in the golf, and that is its relationship with Native American communities and organizations; and is proud to provide golf instruction and activities to all youth and adults who do not have access to instruction or facilities.
